‘Gilmore Girls’ Stars On That Ending & A Possible Season 2 – The Contenders Emmys Video

“It definitely wasn’t the end I was anticipating,”Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life star Alexis Bledel said in regards to the closing four words that closed out the Netflix’s resurrection show. Talking at Deadline’s The Rivals Emmys occasion last month, costar Lauren Graham expressed similar thoughts in regards to the end.

I didn’t understand that that was Amy’s [Palladino] goal. I didn’t understand the closing four words were a thing… It turned out to be an entire surprise in my experience,” said Graham, declaring she initially imagined a more limited end. I believed it was perfect in terms of bringing the characters complete circuit… finally, I adored it on the storytelling !

The reboot of the show, created by Amy Sherman-Palladino and executive producer Dan Palladino, picks up nine years following the first season finished. The four 90-minute episodes that crossed autumn, spring, summer and winter ended using a cliffhanger, leaving the doorway open to get a sequel.

“Now it’s become, “What can we do that’s worth, and satisfactory gratifying to the people that care about it, and continuing.’ I do whether there is a demand to do more n’t understand,” said Graham.
